Exposed Review

Marketed as the “ultimate acne treatment”, Exposed claims it will unclog pores, renew skin, eliminate bacteria, regulate oil production, and calm redness and inflammation. It comes in either a 5 or 6 piece kit, depending on whether you want to spend $49.95 or $59.95. Main ingredients include salicylic acid, aloe vera, green tea, and benzoyl peroxide. However, they do not provide a full ingredients list for any one of their products, which they definitely need to if you are going to pay that much for a month’s supply. And we would like to know about the concentrations as well.

In addition, though salicylic acid is a good ingredient, most of the ingredients are near worthless, and they use benzyl peroxide, which commonly irritates the skin, causing redness and inflammation as well as unsightly peeling and sensitivity to the sun. There is really nothing special about Exposed. They use common, average, and cheap ingredients, and they don’t actually provide any real information. Moreover, you cannot leave the site without being bombarded with a pop up offering you a “special deal” or order without being forced into a difficult to cancel autoship program. There are so many problems with Exposed. But if we had to choose one as our all time favorite, it would be the fact that there are no ingredients lists on products that supposedly sell for about $30 a piece on an individual basis and more for the kits.
